Band Beyond Description
Acoustic & Electric at the Cray Ho
Thursday, October 21 / 8:30 pm-12:00 am
We had hoped to hold one more event at the spectacular outdoor space known as Rosebud. Alas the weather forecasts don’t lend well to that and we have decided to move Band Beyond Description back to the cozy confines of the Crazy Horse. Mixed emotions aside, we can’t help but be very excited about this! Please note that we will be requiring Covid protocols for entry for this particular show. Scroll to the end of this post for more specifics.
As the winds of autumn blow us gently towards All Hallow’s Eve, the intrepid ginger guitar pirate himself – Jonny Mojo – will guide us back into the sacred sonic space we all cherish. His trusty co-captain Gary Campus will be driving the ship with that perma-grin beaming behind the drum kit. A very unique lineup will take us down both acoustic and electric pathways. Great things always happen when Mojo’s guitar co-conspirator Sean Lehe enters the picture. We’ve got a serious legend on the stage with steel guitarist Pete Grant (who actually performed on the Grateful Dead’s 1969 album “Aoxomoxoa”). The groove is always deep and complex with Murph Murphy on cerebral bass. Wunderkind mandolinist Kyle Ledson finally jumps on board for a Band Beyond and is ready to show why he’s one of the brightest young talents in the country. Last but not least, sound wizard and vocalist Tim High will be spreading the emotion like butter on warm toast.
All who plan to attend will be required to follow our Covid-19 protocols. You are responsible for sharing this information with everyone you are purchasing a ticket for. All ticket holders must present proof of vaccination with their second shot being AT LEAST two weeks prior to this date. If you were vaccinated in CA, enter your info at this website no more than 24 hours before showtime and present the QR code on your phone upon entry: https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/
We also accept negative test results taken no earlier than 48 hours before showtime. At-home tests are fine as long as they are verified through the app of whatever company makes the test. We also accept positive Covid results from within the previous three months as long as you have fully recovered and it has been at least two weeks.
The Crazy Horse requires masks covering the nose and mouth for entry. Beyond that wearing them is at your discretion. We think erring on the side of caution is a wise move in general. Thanks in advance for your cooperation!
