Billy Strings and Phish Streams
Friday, July 24 / 4:45 pm-11:00 pm
/ Free

The Earles of Newtown were previously scheduled on this date but unfortunately had to cancel. Instead we are going to do a streaming doubleheader of the two hottest bands on tour right now.
First up is Billy Strings Live from Portland, Maine. Hopefully Billy and the boys enjoy some delicious lobster rolls before they take the stage in this quaint seaside city. Being in this part of this country tends to put one in a good mood and we expect that to be the case for the hottest bluegrass picker ever to strap on a six-string. The instrumental acrobatics are obviously the star, but Billy’s stage production has evolved to a very high level to captivate the crowds at these large venues. Watching it all go down on our big HD projection screen is the next best thing to be there. Enjoy the chill environment here while eating, drinking, dancing, making new friends or keeping to yourself in the corner. The whole family is welcome, but please make sure to bring ear protection for the young ones. Thanks to this remarkable technology, we’re all about to witness the constant reinvention of the bluegrass genre in real time!
We find ourselves tuning into the Phish Summer Tour pretty late in the game as they hit night two of their five-night run at the world’s most iconic arena – Madison Square Garden. This will be shown on delay because we felt it was more appropriate for the godfathers to play after the young hotshot. We expect to start it around 8pm. Phish streams from the Garden are a longtime Crazy Horse tradition with many New Years runs in the past and a good chunk of the Baker’s Dozen. We feel the magic directly beaming through us!
Watching a live stream at the CH on our big HD projection screen with crisp club sound is undoubtedly the next best thing to being there, and even better in certain ways. Get comfortable, dance if you want, chill at a table, eat, drink; make new friends or keep to yourself. Choose your own adventure! The main point is that we love this music and we are in a collective state of awe with the way this band continues to blow minds and inspire us after 43 years! These streams are always free and family friendly. Please bring ear protection for the young ones.
