Dub Creative Ft. Special Guests Simrit, Ishence, Jah Walks & DJ Javadi

Emerging out of Grass Valley and Nevada City, Dub Creative embody a fresh, cutting-edge sound, melding roots reggae, world music, and R&B influences.  They are known for their hypnotic, deep-pocket groove woven together with the transcendently evocative vocals.  This project features rotating members who’ve recorded and toured with countless roots reggae legends over the decades. These include guitarists Ishence and Jah Walks. They are razor sharp in their precision while also adding an element of flair to elevate the music.

Simrit is a weaver of aural magic and inspiration while performing with her band across the country and around the globe. She’s also a Nevada City resident and enjoys slipping into the Crazy Horse from time to time to savor the music just like any other fan. On this occasion, she will be appearing as a special guest of Dub Creative as a portion of the show will be an innovative journey through several songs off of her acclaimed album, Become. “Imagine that the Aurora Borealis could sing: that’s Simrit’s voice. This high-frequency purveyor of universal oneness is tapped into a source beyond genre or simple definition. DJ Javadi has been known to cast spells on dancers; evoking primal expressions of pure release.
