Sky Seals represents a rare amalgamation, merging a theatrical background into the realm of live music. Every note he plays is graced with steely-eyed sincerity and undercurrent of light-hearted whimsy. He’s the ultimate intersection of theatre kid, hipster cowboy, classic jukebox campfire crooner and revelational reinventionist. He’s spent a lot of time playing Johnny Cash in acclaimed theatre productions and it’s evident he has fused his spirit with the legend.

Seals poses the question: “What would Johnny Cash cover if he was alive today?” Fortunately, we got an initial glimpse into the answer before he died with those incredible Rick Rubin recordings. Seals takes it several steps further with far-reaching nuggets from Phish, Portishead, Kendrick Lamar, Elton John and even the “Hamilton” soundtrack. Until you see him leave, you can’t fully appreciate the way he weaves all of these songs into signature medleys. It enhances their impact while taking audiences on a joyous ride. We expect this will be accomplished on this occasion with a notable infusion of holiday cheer.

Seals’ band includes a pair of dynamic performers themselves including Ajeet Campbell (Nipper Brothers, Elena Rayo) on bass and special guest drummer Mark McCartney (Achilles Wheel). We are thrilled to announce an addition to the band with Eric Weber (LAZWELL) bringing the funky heat on saxophone!
